 This was once a realm filled with massive trees. An organic defence from the outside world. The branches used to rustle together, the wind would raise their voices and temper. The kids would use them as castles, as towers, as monsters. Now, now its just an expanse of dying grass. The trees are gone, replaced by a generic wooden fence, a generic building site in which no one ever works. Now I know what the world is like.
