Genres (tutorial task, week 4)

Within novel/novella/film/newspaper/poetry etc, there is:
Romance, Horror, Comedy, Thriller, Adventure, Science-Fiction, Action, Biographical, and many more!
I already defined Horror in a previous post. A few more:
Science-Fiction: Often deals with the effects of real or imagined science on society (Steve Bennett, 2009, Set in a world unlike ours, such as in the future.
Romance: Basically the story of a romantic relationship between two people. Usually with a happy ending?
Comedy: Aims to make the viewer/reader laugh. Obviously humour is a matter of opinion. Various forms – parody, satire, slapstick (Bennett, 2009).
