I strive onwards in a dazy haze
Foot on the peddle
Pressed to the floor.
The world outside is fleeting by
While I journey onward , carefree.
The open road is mine to travel
I lose myself in balancing act.
Thoughts erupt then ebb and flow
But my sense are sharp
I am a leaf in the stream
Serene and unmindful of the banks holding back the woes
I lose myself in my own journey
A peace descending like a lone bird in flight
Until some slow ungrateful bastard cuts me off at the lights.
