Causeway/Cabhsair is a unique magazine which aims to publish new creative work by Irish and Scottish writers in all the languages and dialects of both countries, as well as reviews. It is published by the Research Institute of Irish and Scottish Studies at the University of Aberdeen.
As well as giving voice to up-and-coming talent, previous contributors include James Kelman, Paul Muldoon, Alan Spence, Angus Dunn, Carl MacDougall, Sheena Blackhall, Rodge Glass, Ewen Morrison and Aonghas MacNaecail to name a few.
The magazine accepts submissions of up to six poems, and up to 4,000 words of prose. If you wish to submit, please email your work as a Microsoft Word attachment to firstname.lastname@example.org
Our next submission deadline is Monday 5 March, for issue 5 (Volume 3 Issue 1).
