The Sea and an Office Block

The vast wave rushes across the ground floor as dull desks and dull workers swim in its ferocious tide,

I hear the sound of confusion, I hear the sound of panic,

I hear the sound of my salvation as it engulfs my body and me

 

Autumn Leaves and a Cemetery

I lie amongst my fellow deceased,

But not buried so ceremoniously,

A death-pit of dried orange leaves is my tomb now,

A pit is, for now, my home
